Our Role
ByrneLooby provided geotechnical design and specialist services to the Design & Build Contractor, Ed Zublin AG for this mega project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our role included the planning and supervision of detailed ground investigations, planning geotechnical instrumentation for monitoring ground movement and groundwater change during shaft construction and tunnelling operations. Our scope also included the design of over 300 temporary shafts at depths up to 35m in a constrained urban environment.
