The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), as part of their Fishery Harbour Development Programme financed the development of a new small craft harbour in Rossaveel, Co. Galway. The project was comprised of capital dredging, including rock drilling and blasting of a new basin and navigation channel, installation of an array of steel mooring piles and the construction of a new commercial floating marina system as well as the installation of a rock armour revetment and offshore breakwater.
ByrneLooby (Cronin Millar) were responsible for the design of all elements of the small craft harbour and for securing the required statutory consents including planning permission and a Dumping at Sea permit. We also undertook the role of PSDP and Employers Representative.
