River Fergus Ennis - Flood scheme

River Fergus Ennis - Flood scheme

Due to major flood events taking place in County Clare's Capital on and off throughout the centuries, the development and implementation of a flood relief scheme was necessary. The scheme was implemented in two phases, the River Fergus (Ennis) Certified Drainage Scheme and the River Fergus Lower (Ennis) Certified Drainage Scheme.
