Diyar al Muharraq is a 12sq. km reclaimed land mass to the north east of the Kingdom of Bahrain which, since its reclamation completion in 2014, is being developed by a number of private and partnership developers over the next decade. As part of the development of a mixed residential and commercial retail area by a prominent developer (Diyar al Muharraq WLL), ByrneLooby has been engaged as specialist marine engineer for the development.
Byrnelooby has been appointed to undertake the design and supervision of all marine components of the works including numerical modelling studies, edge protection structures, lock gates, beach creation, floating pontoons and mooring strategy for the proposed marina. ByrneLooby have been appointed by infrastructure consultants MWH Khonji (Stantec) with MSCEB as Lead Architect.
ByrneLooby will supervise the marine works at Al Naseem for the different design phases planned for 2021.
