Wrentham Site Investigation

Wrentham Site Investigation

Our team undertook a Vendors Pack site investigation for a greenfield site in Wrentham, Suffolk. The site had been identified within the Local Development Plan for future residential development to meet the local council’s housing requirements. Our client, The Benacre Company, wanted to market the site for a medium scale development opportunity including residential and landscaped amenity areas.

Wrentham Site Investigation

Our Role

Our Colchester site investigation team offered their services to provide ground information to an agreed budget with the client. This included the following elements:
• Phase 1 and 2 Site Investigation including interpretative reporting;
• Flood Risk Assessment including drainage assessment with soakaway testing to BRE365;
• Monitoring boreholes for ground gas and groundwater levels.

By employing ByrneLooby to undertake these services, The Benacre Company added value to their land and enabled many of the risks associated with ground conditions to be reduced before going to market.
