Our Role
Our expert team at Ayesa London undertook the study of historical records and publications, including a detailed hands-on inspection of representative trusses, girders and columns for each main roof from mobile hydraulic platforms. Detailed measurements undertaken, along with detailed record drawings of the different types of roof, structural forms and connections were compared to reference studies of other railway station roofs examples of similar construction. Our in-depth study, investigation and analysis, allowed us to identify; the dates of construction of the various roofs, verify the different construction materials and prepare a detailed appraisal on the structural engineering significance in terms of designers, contractors and form of construction with respect to similar roofs elsewhere.
