Task 8 - RC Beaches

The Royal Commission (RC) intends to develop a number of district shoreline parks for local residents in the areas of Jalmudah, Dareen, Fanateer and Sudair. These developments will provide local amenities to these areas in terms of landscaped and park recreational areas with improved access to the local beaches. Fahd Alireza Engineering Consultancy (FAEC) appointed ByrneLooby to provide support in the following disciplines:
• Numerical Modelling (HD, SW and LITPACK);
• Control Structures Design (groynes and detached breakwaters);
• Beach Restoration;
• Specification Preparation;
• Environmental Permitting assistance to the appointed third party environmental consultant.
