Our Role
As part of the offshore cable laying and burial works, ByrneLooby developed a Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Monitoring Protocol which outlined the water quality monitoring programme in compliance with the SCE’s guidelines on TSS monitoring (EIA-9). The protocol also recommended additional mitigation measures and provided best practice measures for the land-based cable works, where applicable.
ByrneLooby supervised the TSS monitoring and conducted fortnightly environmental health and safety inspections of the land-based activities.
The findings of the TSS monitoring and site inspections were presented in monthly reports to the client and the SCE.
