Our Role
Ayesa has been involved in all three phases, undertaking temporary works design and railway approvals for the encapsulation works, Category 3 checking of the structural design for Phase 1 and the CEM role on Phase 2. We have also undertaken condition surveys and movement monitoring of the existing viaduct. The project has required careful coordination both with Network Rail and the DLR to ensure that the designs do not adversely impact the operations or safety of the railways. This has required a high degree of planning of all construction operations and our contribution has been critical in obtaining the necessary approvals.
