Our Role
Ayesa were approached by Geoffery Osborne ltd to provide a design to prevent landslides on this section of track from impacting trains. We coordinated with BAM Ritchies who implemented our design. Our role as designer involved producing geotechnical models to ensure the slope was stabilised to a Eurocode compliant design. Ayesa also designed flank walls either side of the tunnel portal as part of the remediation. Ayesa also acted as temporary designer throughout the project integrating these designs around the permanent works.
