Diyar Marina is planned on Diyar al Muharraq which is a 12sq.km reclaimed land mass to the north east of the Kingdom of Bahrain that is being developed by a number of private and partnership developers. ByrneLooby have been appointed by the developer (Diyar Al Muharraq WLL) as Lead Consultant for Marine, Environmental and Architectural Services to develop, design and supervise the construction of the Diyar Marina development. When complete, the marina will berth over 250 boats in water and 50 to 60 vessels on land.
ByrneLooby, who have partnered with local architectural firm Ismail Khonji Associates (IKA), has been appointed by Diyar to undertake the following tasks:
• Masterplanning;
• Feasibility studies;
• Environmental Impact Assessment, CEMP;
• Marine design including breakwaters, mooring strategy, dredging and reclamation, slipways, navigation aids;
• Design of all civil and infrastructure works;
• Site supervision.
