Our Role
ByrneLooby was appointed by Wicklow County Council, on behalf of the Office of Public Works (OPW) to provide detailed design and tender documentation for this scheme. In seeking to provide the best value, and in order to integrate with the existing infrastructure, a range of construction options were chosen. These included earth embankments, piled walls, concrete walls and scour protected slopes. We also designed a solution for underpinning and deepening the channel at Bray Bridge as part of a previous phase of this project.
