Our Role
The project is located on a 4sq.km site at the Askar landfill in the Southern Governorate. Ayesa were appointed to scope, implement and interpret a geotechnical and environmental assessment. This included providing a more thorough understanding of the environmental conceptual model and to provide a basis for pollution prevention and control. Ayesa quickly implemented a large scale investigation that provided the necessary input to allow the design and operational strategy to be developed. This included facilitating achieving the permit for construction and operation of the site with the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) and other relevant authorities.
