Our Role
The design included a period of data collection and analysis followed by hydrodynamic modelling. The design of the control structures ensured minimal impact aesthetically whilst complying with best international design standards. ByrneLooby prepared a beach stability and coastal evolution assessment to determine the construction profile and eventual stable profile and orientation of the artificial beaches. We also undertook the environmental permitting requirements which included the development of an environmental management plan.
