ByrneLooby celebrates International Women's Day 2022

Today we celebrate 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2022. The theme this year is “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”.

As we celebrate international women’s day 2022, we spoke with one of our female engineers at ByrneLooby on the topic of what engineering means to her and how she will continue to break the bias. We must continue to have these open conversations within workplaces, schools, colleges and universities. We must challenge the status quo and forge woman’s equality. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias

Meet Natasha Mukalenga, a senior project engineer at ByrneLooby who has worked on water infrastructure engineering for the past 9 years. As part of our Water team at ByrneLooby, Natasha is working on significant water infrastructure projects in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East - where 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 is key to project delivery.
