This Thursday, 24th November, members of Ayesa and ByrneLooby and leading innovators and changemakers of infrastructure and construction will attend the 2022 New Civil Engineer Techfest Awards.
Ayesa has been nominated as a Transport Infrastructure Champion alongside AECOM, Network Rail, Cognizant & Amey, Taylor Woodrow and Waldeck
The Ayesa entry ‘Maria Zambrano Station, 5G and BIM Pilot has been shortlisted for its innovation in combining 5G technology with AR, AI and BIM, to help bridge the gap between railway operators, maintenance and passengers: Ayesa has designed passenger and maintenance apps which directly feeds into a Building Information model, wielding Artificial intelligence and Augmented Reality to provide engagement and predictive functionalities. The resultant data provides real-time updates on building health metrics, facility usage, station occupancy, way-finding, and compliance. By using the data and knowledge provided by both apps, the future of a connected station with connected passengers and data-driven decision-making has become a reality.
Ayesa worked directly with Adif, Red.es and the Ministry of Development on this pilot scheme that can help create transportation hubs of the future. The awards that celebrate the latest construction and infrastructure industry innovations will be held at the Leonardo Royal London Tower Bridge Hotel in the evening on 24 November 2022, following NCE's TechFest conference.
