To do this we have developed a range of professional programmes designed to equip you with the required skills at whatever career level you find yourself in.  From our Early Careers programme, New Manager Programme and Senior Management Training our programmes are tailored to all levels of experience. 

ByrneLooby Early Careers Programme is focused on that transition from university / college life to what is expected in the workplace. The programme is delivered in partnership with Engineers Ireland and successful participants will receive CPD Certificate in Professional Engineering from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), which is worth 5 ECTS credits at Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

To develop the range of competencies required at the start of your career, participants are exposed to a series of learning opportunities over the course of the programme ensuring learning is transferred to the workplace. The programme is supplemented with internal subject matter experts, to enhance the learning and understand the culture within ByrneLooby. It aims to provide a collaborative, open environment where you can have a voice.



Equipping you with essential management skills
The ByrneLooby New Manager Programme aims to equip you with the skills to make that transition from a successful operations role to a successful manager. This programme is fully accredited by the Irish Institute in Training and Development and is delivered over nine months.

The facilitators involved in the programme are drawn from both the ByrneLooby shared services team as well as expert trainers with a wealth of practical industry experience in the engineering field. This blend of experience with in-depth knowledge of subject-matter-experts underpins the learning ethos of the program in terms of depth of knowledge and breadth of experience aligning with our 70:20:10 framework.

Modules include managing your team, interview and hiring skills, team building and commercial awareness to name a few. Again, the programme is supplemented with sector presentations on lessons learnt during projects which participants on the programme will deliver. The manager programme is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from other offices, regions and countries and learn from them and continue to build networks.
Every year, ByrneLooby looks to deliver Senior Leadership Training based on business needs to gain the strategic skills and mindset required to drive organisational success and effective leadership at the highest level within our company.

Training delivered will allow our senior leaders to collaborate across the business and learn from each other, which is an integral part of the training as a global company and links to our 70:20:10 module around interactions with colleagues. In essence, our training aims to prepare our senior leaders with the tools to succeed.
