Biography
With 25 years’ experience as a civil engineer, Michael has lived and worked in Ireland, the Middle East and North Africa. Geotechnical engineering, marine engineering and heavy civil engineering are Michael’s areas of expertise. He has a particular interest in working on complex major infrastructure projects, and has been involved in schemes such as the Aviva Stadium, Arklow Sewage Treatment Plant, Aqaba Port, Riyadh Metro and the Doha Metro.
Michael enjoys leading teams, providing innovative design solutions on complex major projects. What motivates him is knowing that Ayesa has made a critical impact on these significant projects. In overseeing the team, Michael’s focus is always to deliver practical, buildable projects and maximise the value for clients.
Michael holds an MSc, has written many technical papers and has been the recipient of an Irish Construction Excellence Award.
