Biography
Graham is a civil engineer with over 27 years’ diverse experience in the delivery of projects within the water, infrastructure development and aviation sectors. Graham leads the Water Services engineering teams for the UK and Ireland. Graham has vast international design and programme management experience, establishing and leading multidisciplinary and multicultural high performing teams in successfully delivering large scale and complex projects. In leading consultant design teams, Graham has been responsible for operations management, business development, project delivery and resource management of the project managers/engineers and technicians.
A Chartered Engineer and Member of Engineers Ireland, with master’s degrees in Project Management, Business Administration and Aviation Management, Graham has extensive experience in water supply, sewerage and main drainage schemes in Ireland, UK, Middle East, and Australia, where he has been responsible for the preparation of feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, detailed designs, preparation of Civil Works, M&E Works & Sub-Soil Investigation contract documentation, procurement, and Supervision In Chief at construction stage. Graham worked as PMO lead for Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Programme (STEP) Pumping Station Project (UAE), Framework manager for ADDC Water Framework (UAE) and Project Director for Lough Mask RWSS, Loughrea RWSS, Malahide Reservoir, Bearna SS and Knocknacarragh MD (Ireland). Graham brings this insight to his role of managing the delivery of Ayesa consultancy services for major international infrastructure projects, particularly within the Water market sector.
A highlight of Graham’s career was working on the STEP Pumping Station in Abu Dhabi, the largest and deepest sewage pumping station ever constructed in the world. Graham was the PMO lead for the designer as part of the Design and Build consortium and as part of his role was responsible for preparation of and adherence to project quality, project management plans and the detailed project deliverables list covering all reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings anticipated for the project.
