David Beadman

David Beadman


David brings almost 40 years’ experience in engineering to his role as Company Director for ByrneLooby in England. A Chartered Engineer, David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Engineers (FICE) and a Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE).

David’s particular expertise is in deep foundations and embedded retaining walls, as evidenced by his work on the Copenhagen Metro - a personal career highlight - and his involvement in London’s Jubilee Line Extension.

The co-author of CIRIA C580, David has also been part of a steering group for other CIRIA publications. David has also sat on the Professional Development Panel for the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and on the editorial panel for ICE’s Geotechnical Engineering. He is a Chartered Professional Reviewer for ICE.

With so much industry knowledge to share, David enjoys taking an active role in the training of graduate engineers in ByrneLooby.
