2015 Keynetix Geotechnical Data Management Awards Finalist

Feb 16, 2016

ByrneLooby were announced as a Finalist in the “2015 Keynetix Geotechnical Data Management Awards”. We were awarded finalist in the “Data Analysis and Visualisation Tools Category” .The awards acknowledge the leading ways in which companies are using the Keynetix software, such as HoleBase SI and KeyHole, to process and manage the geotechnical data on engineering schemes.

The awards are designed to give recognition to organisations that have put geotechnical data management at the forefront of their organisation and have implemented new techniques or processes using Keynetix software. Each entry was judged based on two criteria; the originality of the method and the return on investment your organisation has gained this year.

The finalist entries were presented at the Keynetix User Group Meeting on the 24th November in Oxford, Andy Wilkins attended from ByrneLooby. The Winner of each category was announced and presented with their award at the User Group Meeting, unfortunately on this occasion against very stiff competition we were not the outright winner in our category, but made the final 3. Each Finalist will receive free publicity via the Keynetix website and from their other online partners such as Geotechnica, geoengineer.com and geoprac.net. The User Group Meeting has become one of the UK’s largest Site Investigation conferences and the only conference that includes the whole supply chain.

The above project initiative formed the basis for ByrneLooby’s James Lavin’s (Senior Technician – Galway) recent success as the winner of the ByrneLooby Staff Recognition Award in the Technical Excellence Category.
