Ground Engineering Awards 2015

Feb 17, 2015

Byrne Looby Partners are pleased to announce that we have been named as finalists for both “Consulting Firm of the Year” and “UK Project with a Geotechnical Value of between £1M and £3M” categories in this year’s Ground Engineering Awards.

The GE Awards are synonymous with best practice in ground engineering so there is no better way of demonstrating what we are capable of to the rest of the industry than being awarded as finalists.

The awards, organised by Ground Engineering Magazine, attract the biggest names in the industry, not only in the UK but internationally. The 2015 GE Awards provide the ideal opportunity to promote Byrne Looby’s engineering excellence, demonstrate our competitive edge, and position ourselves alongside the finest firms in the country.

Byrne Looby Partners entered the iconic Gobbins project with partners McLaughlin & Harvey and Doran Consulting for the “UK Project with a Geotechnical Value of between £1M and £3M” award.

The “Consulting Firm of the Year” application featured three main projects demonstrating our great client care with Network Rail, community interaction/stakeholder management within the River Dargle, Co.Wicklow project and our geotechnical excellence shown in the HS2, Albert Road, South Kilburn, London project.

The next stage of the process involves a presentation to the judging panel, this not only provides Byrne Looby the opportunity to showcase our best work, but also to do so in front of the most influential people in the business. The overall winner of each category will be announced at the award ceremony on the 10th June at Hilton Park Lane, London.
