Ground Engineering Awards

Feb 21, 2014

Ground Engineering (GE) magazine is globally acknowledged as the essential source of information on new and practical aspects of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology and geo-environmental engineering. Supported by the British Geotechnical Association (BGA), engineers worldwide rely on Ground Engineering for its comprehensive information, analysis and expert opinion.

The Ground Engineering Awards are organised annually and attract the biggest names in the civil engineering industry. The awards recognise outstanding projects, and identify companies whose technical skills have stood out in the industry. Awards are presented across 12 categories including Consulting Firm of the Year. A record number of applications were received for this year’s awards ceremony, a reflection of the number of large scale projects with significant geotechnical elements currently being undertaken in the UK and internationally.

Byrne Looby Partners are delighted to be named as a finalist for the Consulting Firm of the Year category. This is a considerable achievement and is a reflection of the exceptional work carried out by engineers across the company over the past year. Last year’s winner of this category was Atkins. The Awards will be held on May 14th in London and the finalists will be named in the next edition of Ground Engineering magazine.
