Byrne Looby Shortlisted for Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards

Dec 02, 2013

The Deloitte Best Managed Companies awards programme is now entering its 6th year in Ireland. The awards recognise indigenous Irish Companies across the island of Ireland which are operating at the highest levels of business performance. The programme identifies how companies are managing their growth strategies across all key management functions and is unique in the way in which it recognises the efforts of the entire organisation, not just one individual.

Byrne Looby Partners is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2013 awards. The shortlist announcement was made in the Sunday Business Post on 1st December and the winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Ceremony and Symposium in early 2014.

Byrne Looby has grown significantly over the past three years, having almost doubled in size from a headcount and sales perspective. The company now has almost 100 staff employed across its offices in Europe and the Middle East. This growth has been a result of the Byrne Looby's success in the UK and Middle Eastern export markets and through the creation of a water services group. During 2013 Byrne Looby purchased PH McCarthy Consulting Engineers, significantly expanding their water services offering.

Minister Richard Bruton, Byrne Looby Directors John Byrne and Michael Looby announce creation of 50 new jobs, earlier this year.
