Byrne Looby Director joins the ISABC board

Byrne Looby Partners are participating in the Ireland Saudi Arabia Business Council. The ISABC was formed by some leading Irish corporations in order to promote business relations and commercial activity between Ireland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  

The board members of the ISABC include company directors and experts in different market sectors within the Saudi Arabian business community. Michael Looby, Managing Director and co-founder of Byrne Looby is delighted to be included on the council as “the council will be very important in instigating business opportunities for companies like Byrne Looby operating in Saudi Arabia and will facilitate the development of new partnerships and networks”. Other company members include Kerry Group, Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI), FEXCO, Arthur Cox, Kentz, Sepam, Glanbia, ESBI, Athlone Institute of Technology, Rehab Group and Acumen. 

The main objective of the ISABC is to provide trade development initiatives, networking opportunities and business and market intelligence to their members. The Council works with Irish and Saudi authorities and public and private organisations to facilitate bilateral trade and investment activity, assisting and establishing contacts between companies that want to enter in either country market. The ISABC will also introduce potential partners in each country to help companies to form joint ventures, partnerships between clients, investors and agents to increase commercial opportunities. 

The Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) is the counterpart of the ISABC in Saudi Arabia. The joint council comprises key business leaders from Ireland and Saudi Arabia.
