Jun 21, 2013

Byrne Looby employees donned their runners for the 14th Dublin Docklands Run which took place on 20th June in aid of Barnardos. Byrne Looby had 11 energetic employees among the other 3,385 runners in the race.

The event included a 10K and 5K course both of which started and finished in Grand Canal Square and followed a flat course along both sides of the Liffey River and across the emblematic Samuel Beckett Bridge.

2,275 runners participated in the 10K, while 1,120 opted for the 5K. Byrne Looby’s fastest 10K finished was Director Ciaran Duignan with a time of 46:40. Although Ciaran was not quite as quick as Mark Christie the first runner to cross the finish line in an impressive time of 29 minutes and 57 seconds for the 10K course!

Well done to all Byrne Looby staff who participated.
