Saudi Arabia

King Abdullah Financial District

Overcoming bottlenecks in the system was key for the success of this project

ByrneLooby carried out a stress analysis on the design of the piping network for Saudi Arabia’s first financial district. The 1.6 million square meter King Abdullah Financial District will be built close to the business centre of Riyadh. A district cooling water network will be used for this greenfield development.

Our design check of the water piping network was able to identify a number of bottlenecks in the system where stressing was occurring thereby allowing our client to optimise and fine tune the design of this important utility infrastructure.

Scope of Project

  • Stress check on the water piping network of Saudi Arabia’s first financial district.
  • Analysis identified a number of stresses in the system which allowed the client to optimise the design for efficiency.
