Ennis Flood Relief Scheme

This project provided for the provision of flood defences for the town of Ennis, Co. Clare. The scope of services covered Preliminary Report, EIS, detailed design, procurement and construction supervision. In addition, public/stakeholder consultation, statutory approval and cost:benefit analysis were carried out. The scheme was implemented in two phases, an Upper and Lower Scheme.

The flood defence works comprised RC river walls, earth embankments rehabilitation of Mill weir sluices, surface water pumping stations, 2.1x1.2m RC culvert and interceptor sewers.
